Eijaz Khan, known for his compelling performances across television, OTT, and films, is currently basking in the success of his latest project, Dhoom Dhaam. Having played a pivotal role in Jawan alongside Shah Rukh Khan and delivered impactful performances in City of Dreams and Adhura, Eijaz has been navigating a career filled with growth and self-discovery.
Reflecting on his journey, Eijaz candidly spoke about how his perception of himself as an actor has evolved. “There was a time I thought I was the best actor in the world,” he admitted. “But I realised confidence without arrogance is what makes an actor great.” The actor has been consciously working on honing his craft, finding a balance between self-assurance and humility.
While Jawan was a massive milestone, Eijaz’s recent release Dhoom Dhaam posed an entirely different set of challenges. Shot in the extreme conditions of Ladakh, the film tested his resilience and dedication. “Shooting at high altitudes with unpredictable weather was tough, but it also made me push my limits,” he shared. “It’s experiences like these that make you rediscover your passion for the craft.”
Eijaz Khan on working with Shah Rukh Khan
Talking about his experience working with Shah Rukh Khan and director Atlee in Jawan, Eijaz was all praise. “SRK is everything you hear about him and more—kind, generous, and an actor who gives his co-stars space to shine. Atlee, on the other hand, has this incredible vision that makes every scene larger than life. I learned so much just by observing them.”
As he continues to explore new opportunities, Eijaz is focused on projects that challenge him artistically. “I want to tell stories that matter and play roles that leave an impact,” he said. With Dhoom Dhaam adding another feather to his cap, Eijaz Khan is proving that his journey is not just about landing big roles but about evolving with each one.
